Pizza of the Month

Pizza alla Caprese

Fresh basil pesto, roasted tomatoes and oh-my-god, made-fresh-daily mozzarella!

In its short history, Iggies
combination of authentic, Neapolitan pizza (topped with only the freshest and finest ingredients, including ohmygod, made-fresh-daily mozzarella), and made-to-order pastas and salads offered up in a relaxed and funky
environment,
has rejuvenated Calvert St. and created a buzz throughout Baltimore. Factor in our BYOB policy (no corkage fees either, natch) and you can see why they're lining up night after night.

Remember, if it ain't Iggies,
it ain't pizza!

Here’s Our Deal…

We are basically self-service. That’s right; no wait or bus staff. (No tipping either!) In lieu of accepting tips we select a different charity each month and donate any gratuities to them. Info regarding this month’s charity may be found at the front counter (or at the Charities page on this site) along with a donation jar. Donations are at your discretion and not an obligation at all.

A few helpful hints to enhance your experience:
1. although typically you would seat yourself, when there is a line at the register we take names and will seat your party in an orderly fashion. Don't even try to jump the line!

2. as noted above, we are self-service, therefore PLEASE clear your own table, placing dishes in bus pans, glasses in racks and trash and recyclables in appropriate bins.

3. BYOB means Bring Your Own Alcoholic Beverage. We do offer non-alcoholic beverages (quite a nice selection actually) and don't allow you to bring in your own bottled water or 2-liter of coke (or pepsi).

4. We're a small restaurant with limited seating. Therefore, please sit a table appropriate for the size of your party. In other words, do the two of you REALLY need a table for 6?

5. Need anything? An additional pizza stand? More chairs? Just ask rather than SWIPING THEM FROM THE TABLE NEXT TO YOU!

We'll be closed for vacation from Sunday, June 28 2009 until Tuesday July 7, 2009
